Figo - Birth announcement card

This design was made for a birth announcement card for little Figo. A colleague came to me to design a monogram of his initials for the card, but after several iterations, we opted to keep it to the "F" and a fig leaf linking the name to its origin. They really wanted something clean and elegant, but also soft enough to fit the happy announcement. The emblem was first drawn by hand, after which I vectorized it and cleaned it up in Illustrator. I did the same thing for the written name on the inside of the card.
