It’s been freezing here almost non-stop over the past few weeks. So last weekend, as I took one of my favorite walks along the edge of the island, I saw that people were walking on the frozen water surrounding the island. A little scared, but also pretty excited, I decided to follow the footsteps in the snow and enjoy my usual walk with a slightly different view. It’s a rather large body of water, and it’s been so long since I’ve seen something like this completely frozen. Some ice skaters came by, but mostly it was a handful of people and me enjoying the walk over the water. This photo was taken at one of the broader parts, from the side where I was walking towards the other side. I kind of wish the ice hadn’t been covered by snow, that could’ve been even nicer. But still, this super white landscape makes me happy. I just really love snow and having a proper winter here. Enjoy! 🙂
